How did you get started working in the bike industry?

I started helping around in the warehouse at Marleen when I was about 8!? It wasn't child labour - family business literally meant just that - we all got involved! Over the years I have come and gone between travelling and other roles in a variety of studios and companies but have returned to stay!

What is your favourite part about biking?

Embarrassingly, I only just bought my first bike 2 years ago, so I am pretty green. But so far it's about trying to get fit, getting to places the fun way and feeling stoked about riding up a hill that you didn't think you had the energy for!

Favourite trails/tracks/rides?

I quite like the challenge of Rapaki and the small thrills of some of the easier tracks in CAP. I managed the first hour of Ghost Road and Queen Charlotte - can't wait to return for more one day. I also love cruisy rides with my kids on the Shotgun (McLeans, CAP, Wetlands etc).

When you're not biking, you are...

Looking after my 30+ houseplants, Dog, 2 Chickens and 2 kids - as well as the husband. In that order ;) . Wakeboarding and Snowboarding have also been life-long passions of mine, so whenever there's a chance I love getting on the boards!
