HOW DID YOU GET STARTED OUT RIDING?

Started out by hucking flights of stairs to flat at the university campus after school. After a year I progressed to the Port Hllls.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART ABOUT BIKING?

Definitely the exploration and adventure side of MTB. Have been lucky enough to visit some epic locations around the world thanks to bikes, and I’m keen to continue that for as long as possible!

YOUR BIGGEST CYCLING ACHIEVEMENT(S) SO FAR?

9th at the Whistler EWS 2017, and winning the Great British Divide Ultra Bikepacking race.

WHEN YOU’RE NOT BIKING, YOU ARE...

Either eating a burger or at the cinema, maybe both at the same time…

FAVOURITE TRAILS/TRACKS/RIDES?

Last year I visited Les Houches just 15 minutes drive from Chamonix, France and was blown away by the riding! However, the caliber of trail in New Zealand is incredible, Craigieburn or the Paporoa are both must-do’s.

FAVOURITE MARLEEN PRODUCTS?

Can’t go past Maxxis tyres, I’ve been using them as my first choice for 15 years now! Also, currently using my first set of DT Swiss carbon wheels and they're incredible…. Fast and reliable.
